Week 10:

Science:

Monday we will be discussing Chapter 3 Lesson 2 and completing the text questions together.

Tuesday students will partake in a lab in which they will be finding the atomic mass of a newly discovered substance -- Beanium. The lab should expand students' understanding of isotopes and atomic mass.

Wednesday - No school for students.

Thursday we will discuss the Beanium Lab and students will take a short quiz over Chapter 3 Lesson 1 concepts. Homework will be a handout practicing reading the periodic table.

Friday Mrs. Gearhardt will be talking to students.

Social Studies:

Monday we will finish our Chapter 6 Section 2 discussion and students will be creating a graph comparing the population growth of the 3 colonial regions.

Tuesday we will discuss section 3 and students will create a map of the 13 colonies and key geographic features.

Wednesday - No school for students

Thursday students will complete the chapter 6 section 3 review handout in class and we will discuss section 4.

Friday students will watch a short filming discussing the makeup of the early Colonial Army -- titled "Revolutionary War -- An Army of Amateurs".
