Science:
Monday is test day! Study guides went home this past Wednesday. Students will have the chapter 2 lesson 1 text questions for homework.
Tuesday we will discuss part of the chapter 2 lesson 1 text questions and students will participate in a short activity related to surface tension.
Wednesday we will finish our discussion of chapter 2 lesson 1. Students will receive their graded tests and we will discuss any commonly missed questions. Homework will be the chapter 2 lesson 2 text questions.
Thursday we will be in lab. Students will be working in groups conducting a lab related to the heating curve.
Friday we will discuss the lab before completing pgs. 54 & 55 from our book together. Students will have a short QUIZ on lessons 1 & 2 before class is over.
Social Studies:
Monday we will finish our discussion of chapter 5 section 1 by talking about the Great Awakening and Enlightenment. Students will work on a section 1 review in class.
Tuesday we will discuss chapter 5 section 2 -- topics will center around the roots of American democracy. Students will have an in class assignment over section 2.
Wednesday we will look at the first half of chapter 5 section 3. Students will also receive their unit 1 test study guide.
Thursday we will finish our discussion of chapter 5 section 3 and students will receive a handout with review questions -- homework if not completed in class.
Friday is TEST DAY!
