Science:
Monday is the chapter 3 test!
Tuesday we will take a short break from astronomy to study severe weather in preparation for our trip to the Branson Imax to watch the film Tornado Alley. Students will be learning about how tornadoes form and details of the Fujita-Pearson scale.
Wednesday our study of tornadoes continues. Students will be learning about vortexes and creating a twister in a bottle.
Thursday is Job Shadow Day. Students will be off campus shadowing someone in a career they are interested in.
Friday is our field trip to the Branson Imax and Papa Grand's Pizza.
Social Studies:
Monday students will participate in a primary source document analysis activity over the court case of Marbury v. Madison.
Tuesday we will discuss chapter 10 section 2. Students will be learning about Thomas Jefferson's Louisiana Purchase and the expedition of Lewis and Clark.
Wednesday students watch a film describing how scientists are doing work to uncover some of mysteries of the Lewis and Clark expedition.
Thursday is Job Shadow Day. Students will be off campus shadowing someone in a career they are interested in.
